Why Fox Valley Lacrosse Club

We are the premiere boys spring youth lacrosse program in the Illinois. Fox Valley Lacrosse Club is a non-profit 501c(3) organization with the primary focus on developing high-level lacrosse players, servicing Naperville and surrounding communities. We offer K-8 spring travel and non-travel boys lacrosse teams.  Additionally, we have available year-round skills training opportunities through our camps and clinics, and an indoor winter league.  Our programs span from having fun and learning the sport at the younger ages to seeking out the highest level national competition for our older experienced teams.

Our goal is to teach the sport and prepare our players to compete at the next level, high school, and college.  We have the finest track record in Illinois for developing lacrosse players that move on to play in college at Division I, II & III.  We provide them with the tools needed to become their best, to challenge themselves and to ultimately succeed on and off the lacrosse field. We extend to our athletes the importance of teamwork, camaraderie, leadership, dedication, education, honesty, sportsmanship and competition.

As Fox Valley Lacrosse Club heads into our 9th season we are embarking on a fundraising campaign to help raise the Club’s cash reserve levels.  By doing so we hope to maintain the required infrastructure to match the anticipated growth and continued success of FVLC and lacrosse in the Midwest.

FVLC offers the best youth lacrosse experience in Illinois and the Midwest, without exception.  Make no mistake, we are a not a Park District Program.  We are serious about lacrosse and our athletes learn the game and develop their skills from coaches with high school and college experience at every level (Some of our coaches are former FVLC players now playing in college or professional lacrosse).

At FVLC, we work with the best athletes to bring together and train the finest youth lacrosse teams in the Midwest.  And, no other youth teams in the area provide the opportunity to play the Baltimore Crabs, the Long Island Express and the Denver Elite in head-to-head competition (the top lacrosse programs in the country).

Last year we raised more than $9,500 thanks to the individuals, families and businesses who made generous donations to help offset increases in a variety of Club expenses. This year, we have a fundraising goal of $35,000.  We know that sounds ambitious, but we also know that we can count on the families who support Fox Valley Lacrosse.

Over the years many of you have given your time to volunteer as coaches, team parents, tournament administrators, etc.  Obviously we could not do it without your help.  That’s why we’re asking that you consider making a cash donation to FVLC for 2016 (FVLC is a 501c3 not-for-profit club so all donations are tax deductible).

The funds you provide will be used to:

    ·       Pay for the cost of fields.

    ·       Provide year-round Indoor/Outdoor facilities.

    ·       Purchase new equipment and supplies.

    ·       Continue to have the support of athletic trainers on the fields at the games.

    ·       Protect our athletes with comprehensive insurance coverage.

    ·       And, most important, allow us to pay our coaching staff a stipend for the hours they spend mentoring our young athletes.

Thank you for your loyal support in the past.  I urge you to help the Club, once again, so that we may continue to offer the best youth lacrosse club program in the area.
